Happy 13th Surprise Birthday Moriah!

This post is way overdue! My sister Rhonda and I worked really hard to put this surprise birthday party together for Moriah. We were able to rent Rhonda's apartment entertainment area and pool for this special birthday. Moriah was completely surprised and felt very loved. My friend Misty who is a professional photographer (http://mistycolvardphotography.com) took all these picture for me and Moriah! I think she did an amazing job and wanted to share this special birthday of Moriah's on my blog. Enjoy!

Ethan's 7th Birthday Party!

Ethan's birthday is Christmas Eve. As you can imagine it's hard to plan a birthday during this time of year b/c we are such busy people. Even though his birthday is a couple weeks away, we celebrated early. Here are pictures of us celebrating ETHAN!!!

Happy Reformation Day!

We don't celebrate Halloween, but my kids do like to dress up. Josh and Autumn dressed up for their Dyslexic Therapy class. The others wanted to dress up too. They all dressed up with stuff we already had here at home. I just bought face paint for $2.99. I appreciate my children's creativity. Caleb-The Joker, Moriah-The Texas Country Girl, Josh-The Firefighter, Autumn-The Cowgirl and Ethan-The Rugby Player. Enjoy!

American Girl-Felicity

In our homeschool co-op I am teaching the American Girl-Felicity class. I have 14 girls in my class. We are learning about the colonial time period in history. I enjoy teaching b/c I am learning with these amazing girls.
In the Felicity books there is a lot about her love for horses. Yesterday at co-op we had another Mom who graciously brought a horse to co-op for the girls to help groom and pet. It was such a great experience I wanted to share.

Field Trip....

Joshua, Autumn, Ethan and I took a field trip to the Dallas Heritage Village with some fiends of ours. It's a hands on experience to learn what life was like in the 1800-1900 time period in history. I love these types of learning experiences my children get to experience.
